Job Description

Remote: This position does not require employee to be on-site full-time to perform most effectively. The employee’s role enables them to work off-site on a permanent basis. This position requires an employee to cover territory visits to dealerships in a reoccurring frequency. The territory covers dealerships within the entire Western Region. The selected candidate must live within a 50-mile radius of Westlake Village, CA or relocate to assigned territory. This job may be eligible for relocation benefits.

The Role

Lead and develop a team that will be supporting GM's dealer network in growing Parts Revenue, Customer Pay Repair orders, customer retention, tools and equipment, technician training, and warranty administration! In addition, you are responsible for helping to identify product quality concerns and driving customer satisfaction at our premium brand!

What You'll Do (Responsibilities)

  • Develop a Team of Sales and Service Professionals and take extreme ownership of the core values of GM and the Cadillac brand.
  • Role model GM’s core beliefs and sets norms for behaviors necessary to maintain a productive team without inhibiting individuality and personal diversity
  • Create a customer centric culture of empowerment, results focused mindset and drive change management
  • Extreme ownership of Zone Revenue, Retention & Customer Experience
  • Lead and manage the Zone team to execute activities and achieve performance goals
  • Stay knowledgeable of changes within General Motors and the automotive industry to adapt quickly.
  • Evaluate processes, systems, and tools to make adjustments
  • Responsible for driving revenue growth and achieving KPIs
  • Responsible for analyzing dealer’s marketing and merchandising plans and provide effective recommendations to drive service lane traffic
  • Responsible for ensuring Business Plan execution and implement effective countermeasures to mitigate headwinds and drive innovation

Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications)

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 7 years of relevant experience
  • 5 years of experience leading, guiding and improving dealership fixed operations, driving profitable growth
  • 5 years of Leading, Coaching and Developing People in the Automotive Industry.
  • Proficient automotive technical knowledge and business acumen including service operations, warranty administration and customer experience
  • Advanced knowledge of Dealership Service & Parts Operations:
    • Automotive Parts and Service Systems
    • Dealer Operating Report & Fixed Analysis Tools
    • Dealership profit department’s structure and interconnectivity
  • Consultative Selling Skills
  • Effective oral and written persuasive and informative communication skills
  • Ability to travel 60% of the time within the assigned zone, quarterly travels to the regional office in Westlake Village, CA.

Compensation

The compensation information is a good faith estimate only. It is based on what a successful applicant might be paid in accordance with applicable state laws. The compensation may not be representative for positions located outside of New York, Colorado, California, or Washington. The salary range for this role is ($116,800 - $181,500). The actual base salary a successful candidate will be offered within this range will vary based on factors relevant to the position.

Bonus Potential: An incentive pay program offers payouts based on company performance, job level, and individual performance.
