Requirements

  • Passionate about facilities management and making the hub a place where people feel excited to work
  • Qualified with a NEBOSH General Certificate and IOSH certified (or happy to work towards these)
  • Experienced in customer-facing building services and confident managing external contractors
  • Tech-savvy with Google applications, strong admin skills, and an eye for spotting hazards
  • A supportive, flexible team player who is happy to work independently but ready to jump in for key events
  • First Aid and Fire Marshall qualified (or willing to train)
  • Onsite 5 days a week in the Northampton hub

Responsibilities

  • Champion safety and compliance, working with the Health & Safety lead to ensure meeting all regulatory requirements, including the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974
  • Act as the main contact for landlords and contractors, keeping facilities fully stocked and ensuring the smooth running of the building
  • Manage hub events, from Town Halls to socials, including manual handling to set up spaces
  • Support green goals by collecting utility data for carbon footprint management and handling regulatory reporting
  • Keep the office running behind the scenes by processing invoices, managing expenses, handling post, and updating the intranet
