Workday Student Records Consultant

Position Overview
Join our dedicated team of experienced Workday implementation professionals and become part of our dynamic, fast-paced, higher education transformation consulting practice. We are currently seeking thought leaders in the Workday Student Records space to deliver superior results to our clients.
Responsibilities
- Execute the day-to-day activities of a Workday Student Records consultant.
- Serve as a functional expert in Student Records with deep knowledge of current functionality, design concepts, touchpoints with relevant functional areas, and in consideration of future product direction.
- Conduct sessions with customers to analyze business requirements, provide solutions to complex business problems, and transfer knowledge.
- Develop solutions to align with customer requirements and provide appropriate artifacts and deliverables.
- Actively share product knowledge with others to grow our practice.
- Support Workday Delivery Assurance reviews to achieve design and build sign-off.
- Identify strategies, risks, and options to determine ideal approaches that lead to meeting requirements for customers.
- Provide subject matter expertise on Workday best practices.
- Support business development activities such as identification, proposal development, and other pursuit activities.
Skills & Requirements
- Current Workday certification in Records and Advising preferred.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
- Experience gathering requirements, configuration design, prototyping, testing, and deploying solutions to meet customer requirements in the records and academic advising functional areas.
- Recent experience deploying Workday Student Records is strongly preferred.
- Subject Matter Expertise in Student Records with experience in a registrar’s office at a college or university being ideal.
- Passion for exceptional customer service.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively manage customer expectations and relationships.
- Report writing experience highly desired.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, particularly Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Minimal travel required, but must be willing to travel on-site if needed.
Salary and Other Compensation
- Annual Salary: $128,093 - $192,140 (depending on experience and other qualifications).
- This position is eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
