Requirements

Candidates must have successful end-to-end medium to large ERP implementation experience in a consulting environment. Previous Workday experience is preferred, as is prior experience working within or with Healthcare clients. Strong experience in identifying and resolving complex operational challenges that impact healthcare clients is required, along with knowledge of ERP, specifically HCM, Finance, and Payroll. A practitioner background in HR, Finance, or Payroll is a plus. Minimal travel is required, but candidates must be willing to travel on-site if needed.

Responsibilities

The Senior Portfolio Manager will lead Workday implementations from beginning to end for Healthcare clients, acting as the face of the project. Managers will become experts in Cognizant's Cynergy™ (Workday) Implementation Methodology, manage 1-2 large Workday product implementations, and participate in the sales cycle. They will ensure projects are properly planned and staffed, track issues and risks, communicate status, and escalate concerns. Additionally, they will provide guidance and mentoring to other consultants, ensure projects are delivered within budget, present change orders for scope, timeline, or cost adjustments, and present at Executive Steering Committee meetings.
