Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree, and a minimum of 2-5 years of Workday functional implementation experience, along with 2-5 years of experience in Financial software implementation with ERP or SaaS solutions. Proficiency in business processes such as general ledger, budgeting, cash management, grant management, chart of accounts re-design, procure-to-pay, purchase order conversions, expense management, fixed asset management, and/or order-to-cash is required. Report writing experience and/or Workday Financials certification are highly desired.
The Workday Financials Principal Consultant will guide clients through Workday implementation phases, recommend solutions based on client requirements and budget, facilitate design sessions, support clients through all project phases, actively participate in training and knowledge sharing, and regularly engage with clients and project teams to ensure a smooth transition to the Workday solution. They will also perform multiple tasks under limited direction, manage customer expectations, and demonstrate a commitment to exceptional customer service and collaboration, while adapting to changing project scopes and potentially traveling on-site as needed.
