Candidates should possess a Bachelor's/College Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, preferably with CPA. A Workday Financial Supplemental Certification is advantageous, and proficiency in core Workday Financials business processes such as general ledger, budgeting, cash management, and procure-to-pay is required. Previous experience with other ERP Financials or Procurement technology like Oracle, SAP, or Peoplesoft is necessary, along with strong consulting, presentation, analytical, and reporting tool skills.
The Workday Financials Consultant will execute day-to-day project support activities, become an expert in Workday Financials functionality, and lead client engagements to deliver high-quality, on-time, and within-budget projects. Responsibilities include providing subject matter expertise on Workday best practices, conducting client sessions to analyze business requirements and solve complex problems, managing client communication, coordinating operations meetings and priorities, and mentoring other consultants to grow the practice.
