Requirements

  • University Degree in Engineering or Applied Science
  • Proven experience working as a Wireline Field Engineer
  • In-depth knowledge of Wireline Cased Hole and Open Hole Services
  • Experience using ECLIPS, Warrior, Cerberus Tension Modelling system
  • Fluent in English (Norwegian language is a plus)
  • Experience working with Baker Hughes wireline products (preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Execution of wireline services for Baker Hughes clients in Norway
  • Supervising the training of less experienced engineers and personnel
  • Acting as crew lead engineer on site for wellsite operations
  • Working onshore in the base to prepare, plan, troubleshoot faults, and complete follow-up reports before and after wireline jobs
  • Working with customer representatives and drill crews on location to coordinate operations with the rig or production facility
  • Advising customer representatives in wireline operations on site, troubleshooting, performing quality control of logs and other wellsite analysis, and wireline decision-making processes
  • Supervising crew and equipment at the wellsite
  • Responsible for RA sources and Explosives handling offshore
  • Maintaining job records and completing necessary paperwork; communications as required to service delivery coordinator
  • Determining/developing resolution to an assortment of problems encountered at the wellsite of a moderately complex scope, where analysis of situations or data requires a variety of factors
  • Performing all required duties and responsibilities safely and as described by Baker Hughes Standard Operating Procedure
  • Conducting all business activities in accordance with Baker Hughes HSE policies, Legal Compliance requirements, and Baker Hughes Core Values
  • Fully competent in all aspects of operator duties at the well site and at the shop, maintaining the unit, and performing all pre-job duties, well-site operations, and post-job duties
