Candidates should possess an apprenticeship as a Werkzeugmechaniker (Toolmaker) with a preference for a qualification in Formentechnik (Toolmaking Technology), along with several years of professional experience working with injection molding tools and experience in the manufacturing of tool parts. They must demonstrate strong hand skills, a high level of technical understanding, and a commitment to quality, as well as the ability to read complex construction drawings. Furthermore, candidates should possess good German language skills, both written and spoken, and be proficient in using MS Office and order/data recording systems.
The Werkzeugmechaniker (Toolmaker) will independently perform maintenance and assembly tasks, including error analysis and repair of injection molding tools. They will also independently carry out necessary adjustment and calibration work on new tool replacement parts, inspect modification kits and molded parts for damage, dimensional accuracy, and condition before storage, manufacture new replacement tool components for injection molds, and communicate with neighboring departments for targeted tool error analysis. The role also includes working on weekends as part of a call-out schedule.
