Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent
1+ years of wastewater experience preferred
Basic computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Must successfully complete a stormwater training program selected by site management within thirty days
Must complete "Industrial Waste Treatment, Volume I" and "Industrial Waste Treatment, Volume II" correspondence courses through California State University Sacramento within twelve months
Must obtain the lowest grade certification program within twelve months or in accordance with state regulations
Valid driver's license
Required to obtain higher levels of certification and training up to Level A at this facility
Must meet and maintain the minimum qualification levels as required by state regulations
Ability to lift heavy objects (50-75 pounds)
Ability to climb and descend stairs or ladders
Ability to work in unsanitary conditions and with hazardous chemicals

Responsibilities

Operation of wastewater analysis laboratories, wastewater collection systems, pre-treatment systems, and full treatment systems
