Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • 1+ years of wastewater experience preferred
  • Basic computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Must successfully complete a stormwater training program selected by site management within thirty days
  • Must complete "Industrial Waste Treatment, Volume I" and "Industrial Waste Treatment, Volume II" correspondence courses through California State University Sacramento within twelve months
  • Must obtain the lowest grade certification program within twelve months or in accordance with state regulations
  • Valid driver's license
  • Required to obtain higher levels of certification and training up to Level A at this facility
  • Must meet and maintain the minimum qualification levels as required by state regulations
  • Ability to lift heavy objects (50-75 pounds)
  • Ability to climb and descend stairs or ladders
  • Ability to work in unsanitary conditions and with hazardous chemicals
