Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree, which is preferred but not required, and a minimum of one year of prior Team Member management and leadership experience with greater than five direct reports. They should also have at least three years of relevant experience in distribution and/or logistics, along with strong communication and leadership skills, an understanding of servant leadership, and the ability to organize, self-prioritize, and be a self-starter in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

The Warehouse Supervisor will be responsible for managing, directing, and coordinating all warehouse production and systematic functions of their respective shift, including direct responsibility for shift Team Members, lead(s) and planner(s). Daily duties will involve validating labor allocation for business needs, checking in with the load planner and shipping clerk each hour, monitoring the load schedule to ensure on-time service, updating the performance tracker, completing E-time/Attendance, and completing new hire and transferred Team Members training and development documents. Floor responsibilities include ensuring 5-S tools are in place, maintaining Kaizen processes, addressing non-work related conversations and debris, ensuring PPE is being used, hourly performance addressed, completing 5-S scorecards, checking in with all Team Members, ensuring compliance of GMP’s, checking for completion of PIT inspection books, providing on the job training, reviewing and investigating safety incident reports, recognizing injury events using the SDC - Decision Making Tree, and performing other duties as assigned, including travel when needed.
