A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, or a related field is required, along with a minimum of 7 years of experience in distribution, fulfillment, or manufacturing environments. Deep knowledge of Lean principles and structured problem-solving methodologies like Kaizen and Six Sigma is essential, with a Six Sigma Black Belt or equivalent certification being strongly preferred. Proven success in leading large-scale, cross-functional continuous improvement efforts, familiarity with WMS and automation systems, and strong leadership, communication, and data analysis skills are necessary. Candidates must be comfortable in a fast-paced, scaling environment with evolving processes.
The Lean & Service Quality Leader will serve as the enterprise-wide leader for Lean and Continuous Improvement within warehouse operations, developing and scaling standardized processes across all sites to reduce costs, improve productivity, and enhance service. This role involves building and leading a regional team of Service Quality/CI Managers, partnering with local site leadership to assess performance and identify inefficiencies, and designing/implementing SOPs for all key warehouse functions including receiving, put-away, storage optimization, picking, shipping, returns, and last-mile delivery, as well as labor standards, safety protocols, and auditing processes. Responsibilities also include conducting root cause analysis on operational challenges, executing corrective actions, collaborating with Engineering and Operations on automation and workflow redesigns, leading Kaizen events and Lean workshops, developing performance tracking dashboards, acting as the process owner for the Operational Excellence Framework, and providing input into new facility designs.
