Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree or higher in Data Science, Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or a related technical field. A minimum of 8 years of experience in data analytics, performance engineering, or automation systems analysis, preferably within logistics, manufacturing, or warehousing, is required. Proficiency in data management and analysis tools such as SQL, Snowflake, MATLAB, or Python, and experience with data visualization platforms like Power BI, Tableau, or Grafana are essential. A solid understanding of microservices and event-driven architectures is also necessary.

Responsibilities

The Manager of Automation Performance & Analytics will analyze and model performance across various automation systems, including robotics, conveyors, and software. They will identify data gaps and collaborate with software teams to implement new telemetry. This role involves building and leading an analytics team, diving deep into data to uncover inefficiencies, and translating complex data patterns into strategic recommendations for leadership. Responsibilities also include creating dashboards and reports, influencing system behavior through collaboration with engineering and operations teams, establishing data governance frameworks, and applying advanced analytics or AI/ML techniques to identify performance issues. The manager will design data models and KPIs for automation systems, launch analysis processes across multiple warehouses, and hire and develop an analytics team.
