Requirements

High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
Prior experience in warehouse or manufacturing environment (ideal)
Ability to operate forklift, reach truck, order picker, or other heavy material handling equipment
Certification required to handle hazardous materials
Understanding of and adherence to local, State, and Federal regulations (e.g., OSHA, DOT, EPA)
Customer/Patient-Focused: Start with the customer/patient and work backwards to achieve their objectives

Responsibilities

Move materials within the warehouse and load/unload materials onto/from vehicles using heavy material handling equipment
Receive, verify, store, pick, pack, inventory, ship/manifest, screen, and perform other duties to ensure efficient warehouse operations
Follow necessary handling procedures (physical and written) per client Quality Agreements, Service Level Agreements, and SOPs
Verify and receive materials into inventory; mark, inventory, palletize, and shrink-wrap packages for storage or transit
Use material handling equipment to move, store, pick, and pack materials
Work from pick sheets to pull products or supplies; check orders against pull sheets
Follow procedures for receiving and storing dangerous goods in designated areas
Adhere to and ensure compliance with local, State, and Federal regulations (e.g., OSHA, DOT, EPA)
Elevate potential issues to supervision and identify/correct mistakes or inconsistencies in paperwork
Perform other duties as required
