Requirements

Candidates should possess previous experience in maintenance, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, material handling equipment, and food equipment; understand the importance of Customer Service and have clear, transparent, and respectful communication skills; drive personal accountability and use effective time management to achieve commitments; and have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in maintenance. Applicants must hold a valid state-issued driver’s license with a clean driving record and be eligible for a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).

Responsibilities

As a General Facilities Maintenance Technician, you will diagnose, repair, and perform preventative maintenance duties for all commercial equipment to support Walmart stores; develop preventative maintenance schedules and complete assigned PMs within specified timeframes; conduct training for Store Associates regarding equipment care and cleaning; manage work orders and routine maintenance schedules by completing required documentation; and perform minor repairs on facilities, equipment, or fixtures such as plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and material handling equipment.
