The Salesforce Product Manager will be responsible for managing BlackRock SMA Solutions’ customized Salesforce application, ensuring seamless integration with the firm’s master data management and external partners. This role requires a strong technical background, with a preference for Salesforce expertise. The position sits within a team of product managers and will focus on enhancing and maintaining integrations that support business users in meeting client needs and onboarding new partners and operating models onto the platform. This is a high-impact and highly visible position within SMA Solutions technology, requiring an understanding of Salesforce, API-driven integrations, and enterprise data architecture.

Requirements

  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in product management or process improvement, engineering, or project management, preferably in financial services.
  • Salesforce Experience: Preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Experience with data integration, APIs, relational databases, data modeling & governance is a plus.
  • Database Proficiency: 2+ years of working proficiency with databases and writing SQL.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Requirements Gathering: Conduct requirements gathering sessions to understand business priorities for designing and optimizing integrations to the Salesforce platform.
  • Roadmap & Strategy: Contribute to the Salesforce platform roadmap and strategy to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Prioritization & Management: Prioritize and manage initiatives and features based on business needs.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with internal and external stakeholders to deliver technical requirements to engineers.
  • Documentation: Document functional business requirements, process flow diagrams, and business cases.
  • KPI Tracking: Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) from project inception through its lifecycle.
  • Solution Design: Design and recommend functional solutions using industry best practices.
  • Project Management: Manage integration projects to ensure alignment with agreed-upon timelines and budgets.
  • Data Integration: Ensure seamless data integration between Salesforce, master data sources, and external partners.
  • Requirements Translation: Capture and translate business requirements into system requirements for architects and engineers, with a focus on Salesforce integrations and user workflows.
  • User Documentation: Ensure business requirements evolve into user documentation and are published alongside feature releases.
  • Adoption Drive: Drive adoption of new system features by working closely with QA engineers and organizing UAT sessions.
