Requirements

  • CFA or CIMA preferred
  • 10+ years of experience in relationship management, distribution, or business development within asset management
  • Series 7 and 63 licenses required
  • Client-first mindset with the ability to develop trusted partnerships at senior levels
  • Deep understanding of the insurance marketplace, including investment, product, and regulatory trends influencing the industry
  • Establish credibility with clients as an investment resource across asset classes
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Strong collaboration skills and the ability to partner with both external clients (Analyst, Global Strategist, Investment Boards, etc.) as well as internal clients across asset management, product, finance, and distribution
  • Ability to travel up to 50%
  • Deep industry relationships and strong understanding of subadvised and Variable Insurance Trust (VIT) structures, with the ability to navigate complex client organizations

Responsibilities

  • Lead growth and retention efforts across a portfolio of institutional insurance clients
  • Deepen and expand relationships by identifying new opportunities for Fidelity’s investment solutions
  • Position asset class expertise on various thought leadership and investment product topics
  • Thrive in a team environment of strong investment professionals within the Relationship Manager Team
  • Provide market intelligence and client feedback to help shape Fidelity’s product strategy and initiatives
  • Represent Fidelity at key industry events and client meetings as a thought leader and trusted partner
  • Manage and expand a portfolio of strategic clients in the Institutional Insurance market, including those offering annuity and life insurance products
  • Drive growth, retention, and strategic engagement across a defined set of insurance firms
  • Deliver Fidelity’s full range of investment capabilities
  • Coverage responsibilities across Defined Contribution Investment Only (DCIO) and Core Wealth segments, fostering collaboration across Fidelity business lines to deliver integrated solutions
