Responsibilities

Lead and scale a high-trust engineering organization: hire, coach, and retain world-class engineers across platform, data, and product teams; create environments and rituals for best work
Own the technical roadmap and architecture: ensure systems are secure, reliable, and scalable; collaborate with CTO on key decisions for SaaS and data products
Build quality systems that ship quickly and scale: translate complex problems into elegant, repeatable solutions without technical debt or sacrificing quality
Shape the culture of engineering excellence: set tone for execution, healthy debate, documentation, internal support, and shared ownership from ICs to leaders
Partner deeply with Product and Data: work with CTO, VP of Product, Head of Data, and others to define, build, and deliver with speed, transparency, and clarity
Be a force-multiplier across the business: collaborate with Product, Research, Sales, Finance, and Ops leaders on priorities, tradeoffs, and technical transparency
Elevate technical rigor across Blockworks: identify bottlenecks, automate workflows, instill performance improvement and continuous learning culture
Partner with organizational leaders (CTO, VP of Product) to evolve the engineering organization; own teams, systems, and culture for delivering reliable products (backend, frontend, data, infrastructure)
