Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive external communications strategy that aligns with business goals and reinforces Comcast’s home video entertainment
  • Partner closely with marketing, product, government affairs, investor relations, and customer experience teams to ensure message alignment and maximize storytelling impact
  • Lead proactive media relations and develop compelling narratives around X1, Flex, Xfinity Stream, and Xumo products, including product launches, industry leadership (events), and customer impact
  • Cultivate strong media relationships with national and trade media, tech, and telecom reporters and analysts
  • Manage press activities, interviews, media events, and product PR campaigns
  • Position Comcast/Xfinity and Xumo executives as thought leaders through strategic speaking opportunities, bylined articles, and media appearances
  • Provide counsel, messaging, and prep for executive interviews and public engagements
  • Act as a key player in managing external communication during sensitive issues, crises, and industry developments
  • Monitor media trends and competitive activity to inform strategy and protect brand reputation
  • Manage external PR agencies and internal team members to deliver best-in-class communications strategies and execution
  • Build, lead, and inspire a high-performing communications team focused on innovation, impact, and collaboration
  • Influence executive stakeholders and represent the product organization across Comcast and external partners
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
