Requirements

  • TS/SCI clearance with polygraph
  • Five (5) years of experience as an SA in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Assurance, Information Security System Engineering, or related discipline from an accredited college or university (five (5) years of SA experience may be substituted)
  • CWIP compliant with a Sec+
  • Office presence a minimum of 5 days per week (no relocation offered)

Responsibilities

  • Administrate day-to-day IT systems including system availability, backup/restore, configuration changes, maintaining and patching both physical and virtual systems
  • Perform software installations and upgrades to operating systems and layered software packages; schedule installations and upgrades in accordance with established IT policies and procedures
  • Install and monitor security auditing software and remediate defects based on customer security policies
  • Ensure workstation/server data integrity by evaluating, implementing, and managing appropriate software and hardware solutions
  • Conduct routine hardware and software audits of servers to ensure compliance with established standards, policies, and configuration guidelines
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive operating system hardware and software configuration database/library of all supporting documentation
  • Respond to system alerts and engage in troubleshooting and problem resolution
  • Collaborate with vendors on product capabilities and improvements needed to meet customer requirements
  • Develop and apply advanced methods, theories, and research techniques in investigation and solution of complex and difficult system design requirements and problems
  • Plan, develop, and execute projects or major phases of significant projects, coordinating the efforts of engineers and technical support staff
  • Develop investigations of considerable complexity; review literature, patents, and current practices relevant to the solution of assigned projects
  • Review completion and implementation of systems additions and/or enhancements and recommend corrections in technical application and analysis to management
  • Evaluate vendor capabilities to provide required products or services; consult on technical aspects to other organizations
