Virtual Medical Assistant (EST)

The Virtual Medical Assistant will prepare patients for physician visits by ensuring video and audio functionality, adding interpreters as needed, and obtaining signed telehealth consent forms and photos of insurance cards. They will also take medical information over the phone, document medication lists with dosing, medical history, and primary complaints. Administrative duties include answering calls, scheduling follow-up appointments and labs, confirming upcoming appointments 24 hours in advance, performing chart checks, and preparing charts prior to patient visits. The role also involves discovering and recommending better communication methods, proactively identifying improvement opportunities, and executing policies to promote the best patient experience.
