Requirements

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in process improvement, operations leadership, operations engineering, consulting, or quality improvement
  • Strong understanding of health insurance operations, including claims processing, payment integrity, contact center management, and provider network management
  • 5+ years of experience in a senior leadership role
  • Proven ability to design and deliver large-scale, measurable operational improvement initiatives

Responsibilities

  • Own Gravie’s operations delivery strategy, aligning investments and initiatives to enterprise goals for efficiency, service quality, and scalable cost improvements
  • Partner with Product and Engineering teams to define and deliver a multi-year roadmap of process improvements, vendor capabilities, and technology investments
  • Lead a regular cycle of roadmap updates informed by data, evolving market conditions, and organizational priorities
  • Ensure operational requirements are translated into detailed business specifications and measurable performance goals
  • Drive data-driven build-vs-buy decisions that focus Gravie’s internal resources on distinctive capabilities while optimizing cost and complexity
  • Maintain a comprehensive and current understanding of compliance requirements, contract terms, industry standards, and regulatory changes that impact operations
  • Collaborate closely with leaders across Claims, Member Services, Technical Product Management, and Corporate Transformation to ensure alignment between business priorities and technical delivery
  • Foster consistent, transparent communication across Gravie functions to gather feedback, share progress, and communicate new or changing operational capabilities
  • Build and lead a high-performing team focused on measurable outcomes and operational excellence
  • Cultivate a culture of continuous improvement that embraces feedback, leverages data to understand and enhance processes, and delivers tangible results
  • Be accountable for execution of the performance improvement roadmap, including achievement of operational KPIs and financial improvement projections tied to specific initiatives
