Requirements

  • Executive leadership experience in data, analytics, and intelligence, ideally in automotive, SaaS, or cloud-native platforms
  • Proven ability to formulate and execute data and analytics strategies aligned with company OKRs
  • Strong expertise in developing business plans for data products and services to drive growth and adoption
  • Experience leading quarterly/annual planning, enterprise reporting, and accountability for data functions
  • Track record of building and expanding trusted relationships with senior stakeholders as an executive sponsor
  • Skills in identifying and co-developing data solutions leveraging platform capabilities (e.g., cloud platforms, big data, ML/AI)
  • Ability to represent company at industry events, executive meetings, and strategic forums
  • Oversight experience in scalable data architectures, pipelines, and analytics products
  • Collaboration experience with Engineering, Data Science, and Product teams on intelligence features (e.g., pricing optimization, digital retail, incentives, supply chain, connected vehicles)
  • Vision-setting expertise in data governance, privacy, security, and compliance with industry regulations
  • Leadership in go-to-market strategies, sales/marketing/customer success collaboration, forecasting, P&L ownership, and revenue targets
  • Experience supporting contract negotiations for data solutions, pilots, and rollouts
  • Ability to build, lead, and develop high-performing cross-functional teams (data, analytics, product, business operations)
  • Commitment to fostering innovation, collaboration, challenge, and delivery cultures aligned with company values
  • Preference for EST time zone (remote role)

Responsibilities

  • Formulate and execute Tekion's data and analytics strategy, aligning with company OKRs and ecosystem objectives
  • Develop and own a business plan for Tekion’s data products and services to drive growth, adoption, and customer satisfaction
  • Lead quarterly and annual planning, enterprise reporting, and accountability for Data & Intelligence
  • Build and expand trusted relationships with senior stakeholders; act as their executive sponsor for data insights
  • Identify and co-develop value-additive data solutions and analytics using Automotive Retail Cloud and platform capabilities
  • Represent Tekion at industry events, executive meetings, and strategic forums
  • Oversee development of scalable data architectures, pipelines, and analytics products for automotive partners
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Data Science, and Product teams to design and deploy intelligence features (e.g., pricing optimization, digital retail, incentives, supply chain, connected vehicle integration)
  • Set vision for data governance, privacy, and security, ensuring compliance with automotive best practices and regulations
  • Lead go-to-market strategies with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success to drive client engagement and revenue
  • Own forecasting, performance reporting, and P&L for the data insights vertical
  • Support contract negotiations with partners for data solutions, pilots, and program rollouts
  • Build, lead, and develop a high-performing cross-functional team (data, analytics, product, business operations)
