Requirements

  • 6-8 years’ work experience, preferably in sales, training and/or learning and development

Responsibilities

  • Partner with sales teams (including leadership), product strategists and portfolio groups to bring awareness on the BEA offerings and have their clients engage with our programs
  • Communicate regularly with key stakeholders to ensure the BEA program of events meets the client needs, evolves to incorporate various parts of the BlackRock business lines (especially where acquisitions occur) and tailors learning to meet regional needs
  • Support sales learning through available technology including third party tools and BlackRock learning programs
  • Manage relationships with vendors and internal learning partners to stay connected to wider firm initiatives
  • Research, identify and recommend best practices for education initiatives using both existing and new content
  • Meet contractual client obligations by managing and overseeing the BEA annual program
  • Manage the dedicated events support and act as the go-to strategy development and business liaison for all events
  • Identify opportunities to raise the profile and ultimately utilization of BEA across the firm
  • Identify strategic partnerships to embed BEA into large organizational learning and development initiatives
  • Manage key internal partnerships with Legal & Compliance team and stakeholders, such as key leaders, previous presenters and hosts of the events
  • Manage the budget across the BlackRock Educational Academy (BEA) team and the Events team with Finance and Human Resources
  • Design, implementation and content creation of the BlackRock Educational Academy
  • Execute existing BEA programs within 2026 and oversee and evolve the program to meet client’s educational needs for the future
