Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, and have a minimum of 12 years of experience in employee relations, with at least 8 years in a leadership role. Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices is essential, along with demonstrated experience advising senior leadership on complex employee relations matters.

Responsibilities

The Vice President - Employee Relations (Advisory) will proactively provide advice and support on a broad range of employee issues across the EMEA region, including management of under-performance, involuntary exits, and interpretation of employment policy and practices. They will actively manage ER matters from initiation through conclusion, working directly with employees, business managers, and leaders, and partner with HR Business Partners, Legal & Compliance, and the Regional Head of ER to assess and mitigate legal, regulatory, and reputational risk while supporting Blackrock’s inclusive culture. The role also involves advising on the employee relations impact of organizational change, such as workforce reductions and acquisitions, and consulting with employee representatives.
