Requirements

  • Over 10 years of relevant experience as frontline GTB sales in Singapore with wide product knowledge in documentary credit, guarantee, structured trade & working capital solutions
  • Experience with handling MNCs, SOEs, Conglomerates, Large Corporates
  • Sound market knowledge of client’s strategic priorities and global/regional market trends as well as regulatory developments
  • Strong in business origination, structuring and execution capabilities
  • Able to travel
  • Self-motivating and positive can-do attitude towards budget pressure and internal process complexity
  • Independent, collaborative, and entrepreneurial mind-set with strong team spirits
  • Being able to think strategically and formulate plans on where and who to target and able to execute plans and know how to execute well in phases
  • Fluent in both English and Mandarin as the role will need to handle Chinese clients

Responsibilities

  • Client Portfolio Leadership: Manage and grow a portfolio of Asia Pacific corporates, and Multinational companies, delivering tailored structured trade and working capital solutions to drive sustainable revenue growth
  • Strategic Advisory: Serve as a trusted advisor to CFOs and corporate treasurers and senior finance leaders by providing strategic insights and solutions for liquidity, working capital optimization, and global transaction banking requirements
  • Structured Trade & Working Capital Solution Expertise: Leverage extensive product knowledge in receivables and payables financing, inventory financing, structured prepayment solutions, documentary credits, and guarantees to design and execute bespoke client prepositions
  • Deal Origination and Execution: Identify, structure, and close new business opportunities across trade and working capital financing, ensuring effective implementation of solutions that address clients’ operational and strategic priorities
  • Market and Industry Insights: Monitor evolving regional and global market trends, regulatory developments, and industry dynamics to anticipate client needs and position the bank competitively
  • Integrated Solution Delivery: Collaborate with internal stakeholders including corporate banking relationship teams, product specialists, legal, compliance, and operations across Asia and global hubs to deliver seamless end-to-end solutions
  • Business Growth Strategy: Formulate and drive Asia Pacific sales and business development strategies to expand share of wallet and deepen relationships with strategic clients
  • Thought Leadership: Participate in senior level client discussions, industry events, and forums to position the bank as a leading provider of trade and working capital solutions in Asia Pacific
