Requirements

Candidates must possess at least 5 years of experience in Customer Success, Customer Operations, or Account Management, with a minimum of 2 years in healthcare-specific roles. Experience working with or within the Department of Veteran Affairs or navigating the VA Community Care Network system is required. Responsibilities

The Veteran Affairs Account Manager will serve as the primary liaison between SonderMind and Veterans Affairs Medical Center (VAMC) staff, developing and maintaining strong relationships with key VA personnel across assigned states. This role involves tailoring engagement strategies to drive referral volume, collaborating with internal teams and VAMC representatives to resolve obstacles preventing Veterans from accessing care, and managing escalations. The Account Manager will also act as a subject-matter expert, educating VA staff on SonderMind’s services and referral processes, and partnering with leadership to achieve performance metrics and improve Veteran access to care.
