Requirements

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related field
3+ years of experience in systems integration, validation, or related engineering roles
Strong knowledge of system design principles, software validation methodologies, and electrical hardware testing
Proficiency with validation tools and test equipment (e.g., oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, simulation software)
Experience with requirements management and defect tracking tools
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Familiarity with industry standards and regulatory requirements (e.g., ISO, IEC, DO-178C, etc.)
Programming or scripting experience (e.g., Python, C/C++, MATLAB)

Responsibilities

Review and analyze system designs to ensure compliance with requirements and standards
Develop and execute validation plans, test cases, and procedures for system-level integration
Identify and resolve design issues through root cause analysis and corrective actions
Collaborate with software development teams to define software validation requirements
Develop and perform software integration and validation tests, including functional, regression, and performance testing
Document and track software defects, working closely with developers to ensure timely resolution
Validate electrical hardware components and subsystems for functionality, reliability, and compliance
Design and implement test setups for hardware validation, including instrumentation and data acquisition
Analyze test results, generate validation reports, and recommend design improvements
Work closely with cross-functional teams (mechanical, electrical, software) to ensure successful system integration
Maintain detailed documentation of validation activities, test results, and issues
Support product development lifecycle from concept through production launch
Stay current with industry standards, best practices, and emerging technologies
