Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in systems integration, validation, or related engineering roles
  • Strong knowledge of system design principles, software validation methodologies, and electrical hardware testing
  • Proficiency with validation tools and test equipment (e.g., oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, simulation software)
  • Experience with requirements management and defect tracking tools
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Familiarity with industry standards and regulatory requirements (e.g., ISO, IEC, DO-178C, etc.)
  • Programming or scripting experience (e.g., Python, C/C++, MATLAB)

Responsibilities

  • Review and analyze system designs to ensure compliance with requirements and standards
  • Develop and execute validation plans, test cases, and procedures for system-level integration
  • Identify and resolve design issues through root cause analysis and corrective actions
  • Collaborate with software development teams to define software validation requirements
  • Develop and perform software integration and validation tests, including functional, regression, and performance testing
  • Document and track software defects, working closely with developers to ensure timely resolution
  • Validate electrical hardware components and subsystems for functionality, reliability, and compliance
  • Design and implement test setups for hardware validation, including instrumentation and data acquisition
  • Analyze test results, generate validation reports, and recommend design improvements
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams (mechanical, electrical, software) to ensure successful system integration
  • Maintain detailed documentation of validation activities, test results, and issues
  • Support product development lifecycle from concept through production launch
  • Stay current with industry standards, best practices, and emerging technologies
