Skill and applicable licenses or vocational training, e.g., LGV C&E license (class one)
Knowledge of the use and operation of all automotive equipment and testing / troubleshooting equipment
Ability to lift and manoeuvre Heavy Vehicle Components
Experience with welding and basic D.C. electrical troubleshooting skills
Valid driving license

Responsibilities

Performing service and repair of company fleet in line with planned maintenance schedules to ensure vehicles and trailers are safe, legal and fit for duties
Completing signed service and inspection records
Completing defect reports and associated paperwork to comply with legal requirements
Preparing vehicles and trailers for annual MOT testing to ensure first time pass
Performing ad-hoc vehicle repairs, investigating and rectifying vehicle defects
