Requirements

  • Skill and applicable licenses or vocational training, e.g., LGV C&E license (class one)
  • Knowledge of the use and operation of all automotive equipment and testing / troubleshooting equipment
  • Ability to lift and manoeuvre Heavy Vehicle Components
  • Experience with welding and basic D.C. electrical troubleshooting skills
  • Valid driving license

Responsibilities

  • Performing service and repair of company fleet in line with planned maintenance schedules to ensure our vehicles and trailers are safe, legal and fit for duties
  • Completing signed service and inspection records
  • Completing defect reports and associated paperwork to comply with legal requirements
  • Preparing vehicles and trailers for annual MOT testing to ensure first time pass
  • Performing ad-hoc vehicle repairs, investigating and rectifying vehicle defects
