Technical college degree in Electrical/Electronic or in mechatronics. Preferred: Engineering degree in Electrical/Electronic or in mechatronics
At least 2 years of experience in testing, preferably in validation within the automotive or related industry
Familiarity with test equipment: Climatic chamber, Digital Multi-Meter (DMM), Power Supply, oscilloscopes, generators, dynometer, etc
Proven ability by professional experience to execute electrical rack cabling works
Proven knowledge in industrial Electrical standards
Experience with basic circuit design
Good communication skills
Fluency in English is required. German/French would be an advantage
Willingness to travel (initially for extended periods, then up to 5% of the time)
Responsibilities
Build/assemble specific validation test racks and associated equipment
Responsible for validation test setup and test execution
Utilize and maintain automated monitoring system to guarantee in-specification test execution as well as peripheral systems (load racks, harnesses, chillers, HV racks, etc.)
Follow equipment calibration and preventive/reactive maintenance programs as laboratory representative
Apply and keep up-to-date all safety guidelines
Responsible for test raw data
Be involved in continuous improvement and maintenance of the validation test equipment
