Requirements

5+ years of proven UX writing experience with a portfolio that demonstrates ability to simplify complexity, especially in consumer mobile apps that handle sensitive user needs
Financial systems knowledge: Understand the US banking landscape and translate regulatory complexity into human language (Fintech experience highly valuable)
Localization expertise: Managed LMS platforms (Crowdin, Phrase, or similar) and improved translation workflows
Systems thinking: Built content style guides, frameworks, and scalable processes; approach content strategically beyond individual projects
Cultural understanding: Deep understanding of the LATAM diaspora experience and ability to write authentically for people navigating life between two worlds (Native-level Spanish fluency highly preferred)
Startup adaptability: Thrive in fast-moving environments

Responsibilities

Define content strategy: Shape MAJORITY's voice and content standards across all product touchpoints; create frameworks and style guides ensuring consistency, clarity, and cultural relevance as scaling
Create essential in-app copy: Own user-facing content for onboarding flows, transaction messages, error states, feature explanations, turning complex financial processes into clear, confidence-building experiences
Optimize localization process: Build current Crowdin-to-Figma workflow into an efficient, scalable system; manage translations across LATAM markets leveraging AI for quality and speed while preserving cultural nuance
Drive cross-team content decisions: Collaborate with Product, Design, Engineering, and Marketing to ensure content strategy influences product direction and advocates for user needs in feature building
Champion user community: Conduct content-focused user research and testing to ensure language resonates with LATAM diaspora; translate insights about immigrant financial experience into copy that builds trust and drives action
