Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience as a UX/UI or product designer
  • A portfolio that displays a range of work, including User Experience (UX), User Interface design (UI), and ideally User Research
  • Experience designing SAAS software products in a B2B setting
  • Deep understanding of product design, user experience, information hierarchy, user-flows, composition, layout, color, and typography
  • Experience conducting, documenting, and synthesizing user research
  • Comfortable creating wireframes, prototypes, design concepts, and iterating solutions efficiently using Figma or similar tools
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders, think strategically about problems, and effectively communicate design processes, ideas, and solutions
  • Suggested minimum 4-6 years of experience

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with product managers and engineers to craft a delightful user experience that aligns with strategic goals for Interfolio and other relevant Elsevier products
  • Conduct and collaborate on user research to understand user needs and inform design decisions
  • Produce detailed design deliverables (journey maps, wireframes, high fidelity designs, and/or prototypes) based on research and requirements
  • Ensure product designs meet user needs, support business goals, are technically feasible, and are consistent with the design system
  • Collaborate with designers on other products to create aligned experiences
  • Effectively communicate designs and user research data to key stakeholders
  • Help improve design team practices, support other designers as needed, and engage with the design community at Elsevier
