Demonstrated experience as a UX/UI or product designer
A portfolio that displays a range of work, including User Experience (UX), User Interface design (UI), and ideally User Research
Experience designing SAAS software products in a B2B setting
Deep understanding of product design, user experience, information hierarchy, user-flows, composition, layout, color, and typography
Experience conducting, documenting, and synthesizing user research
Comfortable creating wireframes, prototypes, design concepts, and iterating solutions efficiently using Figma or similar tools
Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders, think strategically about problems, and effectively communicate design processes, ideas, and solutions
Suggested minimum 4-6 years of experience

Responsibilities

Collaborate with product managers and engineers to craft a delightful user experience that aligns with strategic goals for Interfolio and other relevant Elsevier products
Conduct and collaborate on user research to understand user needs and inform design decisions
Produce detailed design deliverables (journey maps, wireframes, high fidelity designs, and/or prototypes) based on research and requirements
Ensure product designs meet user needs, support business goals, are technically feasible, and are consistent with the design system
Collaborate with designers on other products to create aligned experiences
Effectively communicate designs and user research data to key stakeholders
Help improve design team practices, support other designers as needed, and engage with the design community at Elsevier
