Requirements

Willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without reasonable accommodation
Willing and able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
Willing and able to work in wet and/or humid conditions, extreme cold, and loud noise environments
Able to operate manual pallet jacks to pull and push vats

Responsibilities

Perform all work duties safely and maintain/promote the Tyson safety culture
Receive training as required and perform other duties/positions as required/assigned
Ensure vats are properly washed, sanitized, and covered
Ensure all chemicals are labeled and stored correctly
Inspect meat muscles for foreign material prior to entering the injector or grinder
Use manual pallet jacks to pull and push vats in and out of the area
Maintain the cleanliness of the washroom and the area around it
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Clean and sanitize walls, ceilings, framework, and processing equipment throughout the plant by foaming, scrubbing, and rinsing
Report all findings or issues related to maintenance or quality of the product to the supervisor
