Requirements

  • Knowledge of safety and compliance protocols, tire and battery industry guidelines, service standards, equipment operations, TPMS (Tire Pressure Monitoring Systems), product specifications, and seasonality
  • Knowledge of Point of Sale systems, phone and in-person selling techniques
  • Ability to leverage digital tools, handheld technology, and systems for sales, service, business decisions, safety alerts, product information, and training
  • Ability to operate cash registers, process transactions, track/monitor returns and special orders, maintain inventory, audit safety/compliance standards, and complete paperwork/logs/documentation
  • Ability to communicate equipment/tools/supplies needs, report complaints/hazards/problems, assist with purchasing decisions, and resolve member issues

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with team members to fulfill sales and service requests, educate associates on tools/tasks/resources, mentor new technicians, and develop interpersonal skills for safe/efficient customer service
  • Demonstrate expertise in safety/compliance, tire/battery guidelines, service standards, equipment, TPMS, products, and selling techniques
  • Use digital tools to plan/drive sales, improve service experience, elevate associate engagement, make business decisions on services/safety/products/training, and adapt/encourage use of new tools
  • Communicate needs for equipment/tools/supplies to TBC Lead, track returns/special orders, operate cash registers/process transactions, maintain physical area/inventory/audits/safety/compliance, report issues/hazards/complaints, complete documentation, ensure proper packaging/labeling/storage, assist members with purchases, and resolve concerns
  • Act as brand advocate, value member experience, model high-quality service/products, influence/inspire team in respectful/supportive manner, understand roadblocks, and assist in training
  • Comply with company policies/procedures/ethics/integrity, implement action plans, use Open Door Policy in business processes
  • Complete work assignments/priorities using policies/data/resources, collaborate with stakeholders, identify priorities/deadlines/expectations, carry out tasks, communicate progress, recommend improvements, and adapt to change/feedback/difficulties
