Responsibilities

  • Compile and report budget information, request replacement HVACR equipment, submit warranty claims, review journals/invoices, conduct price comparisons for parts/travel, and develop scopes of work (e.g., rooftop units, condenser coil replacements)
  • Complete HVACR service assignments using policies/resources, collaborate with stakeholders, identify priorities/deadlines, carry out tasks, communicate progress, recommend improvements, and adapt to change/feedback
  • Conduct inspections and repairs to ensure compliance with HVACR industry regulations (e.g., building codes, indoor air quality, cold chain)
  • Perform work per Walmart HVACR safety/environmental guidelines, reclaim ozone-depleting refrigerants to comply with OSHA/EPA
  • Complete and submit required paperwork (e.g., expense vouchers, summaries, refrigerant logs, work orders)
  • Manage refrigerant levels/parts inventory, record purchases/usage, track/order parts, and build relationships with suppliers/contractors
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, maintain/repair HVACR/EMS/direct digital control equipment; perform preventive maintenance; manage workloads with external providers
  • Demonstrate expertise by providing advice/guidance, aligning efforts to business needs, and building commitment to best practices
  • Implement business solutions by building partnerships, identifying needs, executing processes, monitoring results, and capitalizing on improvements
  • Model compliance with policies/procedures, incorporate mission/values/ethics into plans, use Open Door Policy, and assist others in application
