Requirements

- Understanding of standard operating procedures (SOP) for quality care, patient safety, and compliance
Responsibilities
- Provide pharmaceutical care to customers, including processing/dispensing prescription orders, counseling on health care and medication needs, and maintaining confidential/controlled medication documentation
- Develop, execute, and improve action plans by providing expert advice and aligning efforts to meet customer/business needs
- Support implementation of business solutions by identifying needs, carrying out processes, monitoring results, and adapting to demands/changes
- Model, enforce, and guide associates on proper customer service techniques to resolve needs/complaints within company guidelines
- Model compliance with company policies/procedures, support ethics/integrity standards, and use Open Door Policy in business processes
- Ensure compliance with company/legal policies by analyzing reports, implementing/monitoring controls, overseeing reviews, and directing programs/initiatives
- Provide comprehensive patient care, including dispensing orders, administering immunizations/programs in compliance with regulations
- Create a culture of patient care safety/accuracy, set expectations, ensure accountability for SOPs, provide counseling/documentation, analyze improvements, promote error reporting, and write action plans
- Foster compliance-focused execution by communicating/training on initiatives, implementing priorities, monitoring execution, ensuring billing/HIPAA/SOP adherence, and using audits for improvements
