Requirements

  • Capability to administer immunizations and other Walmart-developed programs
  • Experience in HIPAA compliance, billing procedures, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)

Responsibilities

  • Provide pharmaceutical care to customers, including processing and accurately dispensing prescription orders
  • Counsel customers regarding health care and prescription medication needs
  • Maintain confidential information, controlled medications, and required documentation
  • Develop, execute, and improve action plans by providing expert advice and aligning efforts to meet customer and business needs
  • Support implementation of business solutions by identifying needs, carrying out processes, monitoring progress, and adapting to changes
  • Model, enforce, and guide associates on proper customer service approaches to resolve needs, complaints, and issues within company guidelines
  • Ensure compliance with policies by incorporating ethics into business plans and assisting others in execution
  • Analyze reports, implement and monitor loss prevention/safety controls, develop action plans, and provide direction on company programs
  • Provide comprehensive patient care, including administering immunizations and programs in compliance with regulations
  • Create a culture of patient care, safety, and accuracy; communicate expectations; ensure accountability for SOPs and quality goals
  • Ensure counseling on new therapy/items as requested or required, with documentation; analyze improvements and implement interventions for patient safety
  • Promote reporting and transparency of errors; write timely plans of action for root cause correction
  • Foster environment for health care compliance; train and guide on compliance initiatives, billing, HIPAA, and SOP
  • Implement and monitor compliance execution; utilize auditing to identify and improve issues
