Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Provide pharmaceutical care to customers: process and accurately dispense prescription orders, counsel on health care and prescription needs
  • Maintain confidential information, controlled medications, and required documentation
  • Develop, execute, and improve action plans; provide expert advice and align efforts to meet customer/business needs
  • Build relationships/partnerships with stakeholders, identify needs, carry out processes, monitor progress, capitalize on improvements, adapt to changes
  • Model, enforce, and guide associates on customer service approaches to resolve needs/complaints within guidelines
  • Model compliance with policies/procedures; incorporate into business plans and assist others in application
  • Ensure compliance: analyze reports, implement/monitor controls, oversee reviews, develop action plans, provide direction on programs/initiatives
  • Provide comprehensive patient care: process/dispense orders, administer immunizations/programs in compliance with regulations
  • Create culture of patient care, safety, accuracy: communicate expectations, hold accountable for SOPs, ensure counseling/documentation on new therapy/items
  • Analyze/improve areas for team knowledge, patient safety, risk reduction; promote error reporting/transparency; write plans of action for root causes
  • Foster compliance environment: communicate/train/guide on initiatives, implement/monitor execution, ensure billing/HIPAA/SOP adherence
  • Utilize auditing to identify/fix compliance issues; embrace differences in people, cultures, ideas
