  • Expertise in managing seasonality (item volume, product knowledge, processes, and time prioritization)

Responsibilities

  • Supervise the Produce and Floral team to deliver on the business plan and contribute to club success; communicate goals, execute programs, adhere to policies, and advocate for members, associates, and company
  • Work collaboratively with other team leaders to ensure the club meets member expectations
  • Maintain produce area standards for quality, inventory, production, sanitation, equipment, safety, and compliance
  • Manage seasonality in item volume, product knowledge, processes, and prioritize time between areas
  • Collaborate with associates to ensure resources, share knowledge, and train the team effectively
  • Leverage digital tools to plan and drive sales, improve shopping experience, elevate associate engagement, make immediate decisions on production/training/quality, adopt new tools, and encourage team usage
  • Drive business results through operational excellence, profitability planning, maintaining neat/clean/safe work areas, adequate staffing, accurate audits/compliance, merchandise production/display per layout, and modeling member service
  • Teach and train team for high effectiveness; identify potential, develop skills for quality products, encourage career growth, and source new talent
  • Develop, communicate, and implement processes/practices to meet business needs by collaborating, analyzing data, monitoring results, and addressing improvements
  • Demonstrate, promote, and support compliance with policies/procedures/ethics by explaining, guiding, implementing action plans, using Open Door Policy, and assisting with corrections
  • Lead/participate in teams by sharing resources, determining needs/priorities, coordinating assignments, providing feedback/support, ensuring timelines/quality, and modeling adaptation to change
