Responsibilities

  • Supervise the team within prepared foods departments (e.g., café, rotisserie, prepared foods) by facilitating rotations, managing member needs, delivering on the business plan, communicating goals, executing company programs, and adhering to policies
  • Maintain prepared foods area to meet company and regulatory standards for quality, inventory, production, sanitation, equipment, safety, and compliance
  • Manage seasonality in production, prioritize time between areas, understand new products/recipes/processes/specifications
  • Collaborate with associates and third parties to ensure resources, share knowledge, and train the team
  • Leverage digital tools to plan/drive sales, improve shopping experience, elevate associate engagement, make immediate decisions on production/training/quality, adopt new tools, and encourage usage
  • Drive business results through operational excellence, profitability planning, maintaining neat/clean/safe work area, appropriate staffing, accurate audits/compliance, and merchandise layout
  • Engage with other departments and third-party partners (e.g., maintenance, suppliers, vendors) for operational continuity
  • Teach/train team, identify training needs, develop skills for high-quality products, encourage career growth, source new talent
  • Develop, communicate, implement processes/practices to meet business needs; collaborate, analyze information, monitor progress, identify improvements
  • Demonstrate/promote compliance with policies/procedures/ethics/integrity; guide associates, implement action plans, use Open Door Policy, assist with corrections
