Responsibilities

  • Supervise the team within all prepared foods departments (e.g., café, rotisserie, prepared foods) by facilitating rotations, managing member needs, delivering on the business plan, and contributing to club success
  • Communicate department goals, execute company programs, and advocate for members, associates, and the company
  • Ensure the prepared foods area meets standards for quality, inventory, production, sanitation, equipment, safety, and compliance
  • Manage production for seasonality, learn new products/recipes/processes/specifications, and prioritize time between areas
  • Collaborate with associates and third parties to provide resources, share knowledge, and train the team
  • Leverage digital tools to plan/drive sales, improve shopping experience, elevate associate engagement, and make immediate decisions on production, training, and quality; adopt and encourage new tools
  • Drive business results through operational excellence, profitability planning, maintaining neat/clean/safe areas, staffing levels, audits/compliance, and merchandise production/display per layout plan
  • Engage with other departments and third-party partners (e.g., maintenance, suppliers, vendors) for operational continuity
  • Teach/train team by identifying needs, developing skills for high-quality products, encouraging career growth, and sourcing talent internally/externally
  • Develop, communicate, and implement processes/practices to meet business needs by analyzing information, monitoring progress, and addressing improvements
  • Demonstrate, promote, and support compliance with policies, procedures, ethics, and integrity; implement action plans and assist with corrections
  • Lead/participate in teams by sharing resources, determining needs/priorities, coordinating assignments, providing feedback/support, ensuring timelines/quality, and modeling adaptation to change
