Responsibilities

  • Supervise the team within all prepared foods departments (e.g., café, rotisserie, prepared foods) by facilitating rotations, managing member needs, and delivering on the business plan
  • Communicate department goals, execute company programs, adhere to policies, and advocate for members, associates, and the company
  • Ensure the prepared foods area meets company and regulatory standards for quality, inventory, production, sanitation, equipment usage, safety, and compliance
  • Manage seasonality in production, prioritize time between areas, and collaborate with associates and third parties for resources, knowledge sharing, and training
  • Leverage digital tools to plan for and drive sales, improve shopping experience, elevate associate engagement, and make immediate business decisions
  • Drive business results through operational excellence, planning for profitability, maintaining a neat, clean, and safe work area, ensuring staffing levels, and meeting audit/compliance standards
  • Produce and display merchandise according to the merchandise layout plan and engage with other departments and third-party partners for operational continuity
  • Teach and train the team, identify training needs, develop skills for high-quality products, encourage career growth, and source new talent
  • Develop, communicate, and implement processes and practices by collaborating with managers, coworkers, customers, and partners; analyze information, monitor progress, and address improvements
  • Demonstrate, promote, and support compliance with company policies, procedures, ethics, and integrity; assist management with corrections
