Responsibilities

  • Supervise the team within prepared foods departments (e.g., café, rotisserie, prepared foods) by facilitating rotations, managing member needs, delivering on the business plan, communicating goals, executing programs, and advocating for members, associates, and company
  • Maintain expertise by ensuring the prepared foods area meets company and regulatory standards for quality, inventory, production, sanitation, equipment, safety, and compliance
  • Manage seasonality in production, prioritize time between areas, collaborate with associates and third parties, share knowledge, and train the team
  • Leverage digital tools to plan/drive sales, improve shopping experience, elevate associate engagement, make immediate decisions on production/training/quality, and adopt/encourage new tools
  • Drive business results by committing to operational excellence, planning profitability, maintaining neat/clean/safe work areas, ensuring staffing/audit/compliance, producing/displaying merchandise per layout, and engaging with other departments/third-party partners
  • Act as a talent ambassador by teaching/training the team, identifying needs, developing skills, encouraging career growth, and sourcing new talent internally/externally
  • Develop, communicate, and implement processes/practices to meet business needs by collaborating, analyzing information, monitoring progress, and addressing improvements
