Requirements

  • Ability to work Monday through Thursday, 6:00 PM to 4:00 AM (full-time night shift)
  • Capability to process work orders, prioritize orders, and maintain inventory accuracy using system software (Inventory Department)
  • Skills in sorting, placing, storing, and moving freight manually
  • Experience or ability to produce corrective eyewear: preparing lenses (tracing, blocking, first inspection), using edging equipment, mounting lenses in frames, assembling eyewear, and completing cosmetic add-ons (e.g., polish, tint) (Finish Department)
  • Proficiency in lens preparation: layout, taping, blocking, creating curvature/thickness per prescription, using lens grinding equipment, applying hard coating, and preparing for add-ons (e.g., tint, no glare) (Surface Department)
  • Ability to maintain quality standards by reviewing work tickets, adhering to SOPs, and evaluating work
  • Strong communication skills (verbal/writing) with associates and vendors

Responsibilities

  • Ensure facility productivity by processing work orders to workload and prioritizing orders (Inventory Department)
  • Maintain quality, accuracy, and integrity of inventory by scanning product in/out using system software, sorting/placing/storing freight or work orders, and moving freight manually (Inventory Department)
  • Produce and manufacture corrective eyewear: prepare lenses (tracing, blocking, first inspection), produce lenses for frame placement using edging equipment, manually mount lenses in frames, assemble eyewear, complete cosmetic add-ons (e.g., polish, tint) (Finish Department)
