- Ability to initiate, direct, and participate in community outreach programs, including establishing relationships with key community individuals/groups and representing the company externally
- Knowledge of company policies, procedures, asset protection, safety controls, and quality assurance standards, with skills in analyzing reports and implementing action plans
- Experience in supervising, hiring, training, mentoring, evaluating, and developing hourly associates, including providing recognition and promoting a belonging mindset
- Proficiency in modeling exceptional customer service using the One Best Way (OBW) service model, resolving customer issues, and leading process improvements
- Capability to assist in driving financial performance, including reviewing P&L statements, controlling expenses, forecasting budgets, and analyzing economic trends/community needs
- Skills in coordinating job-related activities, developing stakeholder relationships, setting goals, measuring progress, and promoting continuous learning/adaptability

Responsibilities
- Initiate, direct, and participate in community outreach programs, champion company-sponsored programs, events, and sustainability efforts
- Ensure compliance with company policies/procedures by holding associates accountable, implementing/monitoring controls, and developing action plans for deficiencies
- Provide supervision and development for hourly associates, including hiring, training, mentoring, assigning duties, evaluating performance, and setting expectations
- Model and demonstrate exceptional customer service standards, manage initiatives, resolve complaints/issues, and implement action plans for improvements
- Assist store manager in driving financial performance by achieving sales/profit goals, controlling expenses, correcting deficiencies, and participating in budget forecasting
- Coordinate, complete, and oversee job-related activities/assignments, support stakeholder plans, identify goals/objectives, build accountability, and address improvement opportunities
- Maintain and promote highest standards of integrity, ethics, compliance, and Walmart values, while supporting the Open Door Policy in business processes
