Responsibilities

  • Provide supervision and development opportunities for associates, including hiring, training, mentoring, assigning duties, recognition, and performance evaluations
  • Identify and resolve associate, customer, and supplier concerns using judgment or consultation
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and support for mission, values, ethics, and Open Door Policy
  • Drive and implement business plans for assigned areas to achieve facility goals (e.g., production, quality, safety) and operational improvements
  • Prepare, review, and analyze business reports to identify improvements
  • Forecast staffing, workloads, and performance to meet business demands
  • Supervise and manage warehouse associates and leaders, monitor performance, provide feedback, and identify training needs
  • Execute multiple business plans and projects by identifying needs, developing plans, removing barriers, measuring progress, and adjusting performance
  • Promote company policies by training others, ensuring compliance, and supporting community outreach
  • Build high-performing teams, create belonging culture, attract/retain talent, and model Walmart values
  • Evaluate effectiveness of plans/programs, solicit suggestions for efficiency/cost-effectiveness, and support regenerative goals (e.g., positive impact, eliminating waste)
