Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the movement of trailers to designated locations with Warehouse Management
  • Maintain Walmart's trucks and trailers by conducting thorough inspections to ensure optimal mechanical performance, safety standards, and emergency equipment readiness
  • Maintain proper fuel levels and perform regular trailer inventory checks
  • Ensure quality by maintaining records, logs, and forms, including any forms required by the Department of Transportation (DOT)
  • Operate tractor/trailer units by adhering to all safety requirements, including placing trailers in designated locations
  • Comply with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing related action plans and using the Open Door Policy
  • Complete work assignments and priorities by using policies, data, and resources; collaborating with others; identifying priorities; carrying out tasks; communicating progress; and adapting to change
  • Embrace differences, create a culture of belonging, work as a team, mentor others, and recognize contributions
