Requirements

  • Expertise in managing and coordinating training programs (e.g., new hire orientation, CBL modules, web-based training, virtual classroom) for associates, drivers, and management

Responsibilities

  • Communicate goals and manage staffing/scheduling to implement business plan and achieve facility goals
  • Manage daily HR office administrative functions (benefits, hiring/transfers, terminations, payroll) and refine recruiting/staffing initiatives
  • Address employment-related concerns for applicants, associates, and managers
  • Ensure compliance with HR policies by reviewing/managing HR documents and systems, researching HR issues
  • Train associates on Logistics/company policies, monitor compliance, distribute/maintain procedures and documentation
  • Identify concerns from associates/customers/suppliers and determine corrective actions or recommendations
  • Supervise/develop associates/leaders: assign duties, coordinate workloads, monitor performance, provide feedback, identify training needs, participate in hiring/promotion/coaching/evaluation
  • Coordinate training activities: identify needs, monitor completion/curricula/schedules/deadlines/compliance, present/facilitate courses for Distribution/Transportation associates
  • Develop/maintain stakeholder relationships, support plans/initiatives, set goals, measure progress, address improvements, promote continuous learning
  • Provide supervision/development: hire/train/mentor associates, assign duties, recognize contributions, promote belonging mindset
  • Ensure compliance with company policies/procedures, support mission/values/ethics via action plans, Open Door Policy, and guidance on business processes
