Requirements

  • Ability to operate and monitor filling machinery in a dairy processing environment
  • Knowledge of sanitation, quality policies, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and food safety/quality system requirements
  • Capability to perform quality checks, record production and quality data, and complete documentation
  • Skills in cleaning, setting up, operating, and monitoring filling equipment
  • Ability to conduct filler line changeovers and adjust fill weights to meet specifications
  • Commitment to maintaining a clean, sanitary, and safe workspace
  • Strong communication skills to report issues/concerns to management, departments, and associates

Responsibilities

  • Operate and monitor filling machinery, track and adjust fill weights to meet bottle specifications
  • Oversee cap monitoring, capping, and general product packaging
  • Clean, set up, operate, and monitor filling equipment
  • Perform all necessary quality checks and complete documentation for filling machinery; record production and quality data
  • Conduct filler line changeovers
  • Adhere to all sanitation and quality policies/procedures and comply with Good Manufacturing Practices
  • Ensure adherence to food safety and quality system requirements
  • Keep the workspace clean, sanitary, and safe
  • Communicate with other departments, management, and associates; promptly report any issues/concerns impacting production efficiency
  • Immediately report any food safety or quality issues to management
  • Comply with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics/integrity; use Open Door Policy
  • Complete work assignments/priorities using policies, data, resources; collaborate with others; identify priorities/deadlines; communicate progress; recommend improvements; adapt to change/feedback
