Requirements

  • Ability to communicate verbally and in writing with individuals or groups (e.g., customers, suppliers, associates)
  • Skills in researching, verifying, and filing daily time reports, time and pay adjustments, and payroll edits
  • Proficiency in preparing, reviewing, analyzing, and processing reports, documents, and logs for compliance with applicable laws
  • Experience responding to issues and questions related to payroll, benefits, and employment
  • Capability to perform general clerical duties (e.g., filing, keying, faxing, answering phones, entering data in multiple systems, scheduling appointments, maintaining logs)
  • Knowledge of processing HR reports, documents, and paperwork
  • Ability to assist with transfers, orientations, terminations, and new hire processes
  • Skills in scheduling interviews and drug screens, completing reference checks, and processing new hires, terminations, and transfers
  • Familiarity with employment-related paperwork (e.g., Leave of Absence, Workers Compensation, OSHA logs)
  • Ability to use policies, data, and resources to complete work assignments, collaborate with others, identify priorities, and adapt to change

Responsibilities

  • Process payroll documentation for pay adjustments, including researching, verifying, filing time reports, and payroll edits
  • Assist with human resource functions (e.g., payroll, benefits, employment) by preparing, reviewing, analyzing, and processing reports, documents, and logs to ensure compliance
  • Respond to issues and questions related to payroll, benefits, and employment, and report deficiencies to management
  • Provide administrative and HR support through general clerical duties (e.g., filing, keying, faxing, answering phones, data entry, scheduling, maintaining logs)
  • Prepare, review, analyze reports and paperwork, and process HR reports and documents
  • Assist with multiple HR functions, including transfers, orientations, terminations, and transfers
  • Support hiring process by scheduling interviews and drug screens, completing reference checks, processing new hires/terminations/transfers, and assisting with orientations
  • Process employment-related paperwork and data entry (e.g., Leave of Absence, Workers Compensation, OSHA logs)
  • Complete work assignments by using policies/data/resources, collaborating with managers/coworkers/customers, identifying priorities/deadlines, communicating progress, and adapting to change
  • Comply with company policies, procedures, ethics, and integrity by implementing action plans and applying them in business processes
